Elin L.
During my six years as an Art Director and Graphic Designer at two prestigious advertising agencies in Sweden, I learned everything about creative processes in fast-paced environments with the highest level of attention to client and detail.
It sharpened my sensibility for deadlines and quality control as well advanced my skills to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, from strategy to production and final delivery. The work included creating concepts, campaigns, brand guidelines as well as presenting to clients.
In 2021 I joined the brand studio team at the Barcelona based SAS company Typeform as a full time designer. The work involved developing the brand and implementing guidelines as well as designing content for social media, ads, landing pages, blog and newsletters.
Right now I’m working as a freelancer for a portfolio of global clients. My website reflects my passion for brand design and visual concepts. I believe in communication that is human, authentic and engaging.
Asteri is a talent agency based in Stockholm working with Europe’s fastest growing companies and the world's most established brands. It is a business unit within The Talent Company, focused on talent acquisition.
I facilitated the Asteri team through brand workshops, followed by development of the creative concept and the visual identity design.
The concept of the star is referring to Asteri as being the fire starter, bringing ideas to life and helping their clients to realize talent strategies. It is also a reference to the name Asteri (meaning star in Greek) and its ties to the mother brand The Talent Company. The result was a sparkling, fiery identity.
Archireef offers climate solutions by restoring degraded marine ecosystems. By using 3D printing technology and material science, they create the best suited artificial habitats for threatened marine life.
It was an honor to be hired for creating the Archireef brand logotype and visual identity. The logotype concept is developed from water ripple shapes and the negative space inside creates an image of the letter A. The circle shape is a reference to eco systems and planet earth. The flowing, organic lines reminds us of finger prints as well.
Unfold is an executive search agency based in Stockholm. They are are experts in leadership search, hiring and assessment, focusing on global innovation companies.
After the name was developed through brand workshops, I was hired to design the visual identity too, and so the folded U concept was born. The design process involved folded paper letters by hand that were refined digitally. The U shape can also be seen as it has stairs or steps, that illustrates succession and stepping up.
The project involved designing framework for the new website as well.
Andrew McLeod is a meditation and mindfulness consultant based in Barcelona offering guided sessions for companies and individuals with focus on awareness and compassion, for improved health and productivity.
I was hired to help Andrew with the branding design and after a couple of meditation sessions, the concept of the mindful logotype was formed. The identity with flowing letters was designed to reflect ocean waves, lightness and streaming thoughts.
Portier Technologies is a B2B start-up that serves the luxury hospitality market. Designed exclusively for high-end hotels that aim to generate more income from each guest, the Portier service offering is built around a call-enabled 4G smartphone placed in every hotel room.
As Art director and graphic designer for Portier my first project was the visual identity and logotype design. The key logo is a visualization of what Portier actually does for the hotel guest; opening doors to first class experiences and local gems.
During the following year I got the opportunity to further develop the brand guidelines and together with the tech team, the design of the app/software as well.
In and Out Barcelona is a foodie project that went from being a simple blog to one of the most popular guides in Barcelona with personal stories covering where to eat, drink and hang out in the city.
it was a complex yet lovely project for me as a web and UX designer with full responsibility for the design all the way from art direction to designing mockups and mobile optimisation. It was challenging with a limited budget, transforming a blog into a user friendly and inspiring website using a customised Wordpress solution with an advanced CMR system.
